Camp Full Monte facilities building

The focal point of Camp Full Monte is a purpose-built communal space comprised of a covered cooking/eating area, showers and toilets.

Odourless compost toiletsOur modern, ecologically friendly facilities include composting toilets, waterless urinals, and sinks & showers utilising solar heated water.

During the summer the solar water system keeps our 400 litre hot water tank at around 70 degrees centigrade so there's always plenty of hot water to shower off the sun block.

All the waste water from our showers, cooking facilities, laundry & wash basins is used to water the grounds via an ingenious grey water recycling system.

Camp Full Monte Communal Kitchen Area

The cooking area includes everything you need to prepare meals.  There's a barbeque, gas hob & oven, utensils & crockery and the kitchen is always stocked with basic condiments and ingredients.  Free drinking water is available - no need to buy bottled water and you can fill your own containers up from the local spring.

There are additional areas outside the campsite building laid out with picnic tables & chairs for comfortable "al fresco" dining.

comfy

For all the fun of camping without the hassle of the camping gear, we can provide everything from a corkscrew to fully equipped tents.  We pride ourselves on creating the environment for a good night's sleep. All our hire tents are roomy, weather-proof and come with comfy mattresses, pillows & clean bedding.  Free breakfast is also included with all our tent hire options.

Relax in our hammocks

Our games are popular with guests, especially Swingball, Giant Backgammon and our handmade wooden games.  In the cool 'Cave' underneath the main building you'll find a large selection of books & a quiet space out of the sun to read them in.  The double hammock, single hammocks and shaded outside lounge with comfortable sofas are a big hit with our guests too!

Exploring Montenegro

Bella Vista Square, Herceg Novi, MontenegroIf you can bear to tear yourself away from our campsite there is plenty you can do and see in Montenegro.  The best way to explore Montenegro is by car and we can recommend competitive and reliable car rental services.

Kotor backstreets, Montenegro

There are some interesting and beautiful places close by.  The old town (Stari Grad) of Herceg Novi is a short drive away.  A road trip round the Bay is a must.  Stop off at Perast, walk the walls of Kotor, enjoy a coffee in Tivat and return across the Bay by car ferry (trajekt).  Stari Bar is worth a visit as is the impressive walled city of Dubrovnik, less than an hour away across the border in Croatia.

View from Njivici Nudist beach, Montenegro

Our campsite is 15 minutes drive from the stunning Boka Bay (Boka Kotorska). From there the nearest beach is only a short walk away. You can swim among the fish in clear warm water or relax on the beach.  The best way to see the Bay is from the water.  We can highly recommend a day trip on the beautiful sailing yacht, Monty B.

Hire a stand up paddle board or kayak in Herceg Novi and visit the quaint fishing village of Rose. Or go further afield and explore the Skadar Lake National Park. Our friends at SupKayak.me offer a variety of rental and guided tour options.

If you have time and a car, a visit to at least one of Montenegro's national parks in the north - Durmitor or Biogradska Gora - is not to be missed. Active Travels Montenegro offer memorable day trips white water rafting in the Tara Canyon in the north of Montenegro and hikes around the stunning Piva region.

You can go kite surfing, diving, paragliding, canyoning or rock climbing; or take a gentle hike and a picnic in the hills; or simply relax on a beach - Montenegro can offer it all!
